*** the design is engraved on the backside of the cutting board , leaving the front side perfect for cutting on, when not in use flip it over to show off your beautiful board
Due to the variances in bamboo ( softer and harder areas on the board , there may be slight color differences in the engraving color throughout , which we feel gives the board a more natural and rustic feel
Board care-----------
Before you use a new board, apply a thin coat of food safe mineral oil to all sides of your board, rubbing in the direction of the grain using a clean rag. Apply as much oil as the wood will absorb, but don't leave any pooled on the surface
• Re-oil as needed. Whenever your board starts to look dull in places, apply a thin coat of oil to the entire clean, dry board.
